Module 1 Activity: How This Works

Each week, in addition to your Reading Questions and your weekly Discussion, you'll have an Activity to complete. Most of the time, you'll either watch & listen (e.g. to one or more videos) or you'll manipulate something (like an online tool that allows you to simulate some part of the universe.)

During Week 1, you'll do a little of both. This Activity is divided into three Parts:

• Part 1: Answer questions about a video called "To Scale: The Solar System".
• Part 2: Zoom in and out within an animation called "The Scale of the Universe".
• Part 3: Answer questions about a video called "The Known Universe".
