Here is a practice version of the Final Exam.

This practice exam has some questions recycled from the practice version of the Midterm. (They are from Modules 1 through 5.)

The real Final Exam will have some questions recycled from the real version of the Midterm. (They will also be from Modules 1 through 5. See the What2Know list for the Final Exam for a list of the numbers of recycled questions of various types.)

If the computer gives you a percentage grade after you try this practice test, take that number with a grain of salt. Here's why:

  • Our exams are worth 150 points, and each exam has a 7-point extra-credit question, so it is theoretically possible to get more than 100% on a test. Canvas doesn't handle that sort of thing very well, though. I simply record the points you earn; I don't bother recording the percentages that Canvas calculates.
  • When I grade the real Final Exam, I'll use the same partial-credit "fudge point" system that I used when I graded the Midterm.
