Module 1 Activity Instructions:
This activity is due on Sunday, January 13th at 10pm.
For this week's Module Activity, I've broken the Activity into three (3) parts:
- Part 1 (this part): Video called "To Scale: The Solar System"
- Part 2: `Slider Animation' about "The Scale of the Universe"
- Part 3: Video on "The Known Universe"
TO DO THIS PART (Part 1), OPEN THE VIDEO LINK BELOW IN A NEW BROWSER TAB OR WINDOW, AND ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ABOUT IT.
You can ignore the "quiz" references you see for each Module Activity because they are not timed. You may enter this activity now, and re-enter it at any time until you officially "submit" the activity, or it closes, whichever comes first.
If you have an urgent personal situation come up where you cannot turn in this activity on time, you will get an extension of time that you don't need to ask for, without penalty. This extension will last until Sunday, January 20th at 10pm. No other extensions for this assignment will be granted for any reason. Use these grace periods only in the case of an emergency. In fact, you should try to work ahead if possible. Continually relying on grace periods is a major sign that you are behind in the course.
IMPORTANT: It is always your responsibility to make sure an activity has submitted properly. If, for some reason, an activity does not submit properly and you do not notice this until after the grace period deadline has passed, you will not have another opportunity to submit this activity for a grade.
Your scores and feedback comments for this part of the Module 1 Activity will be available January 23rd at 10pm.
*Note: E-mailed assignments are never accepted for any reason. Only assignments properly submitted here, through Canvas, will be accepted for credit.
