Enceladus: Another Ocean World?
Ever since the Voyager flybys of the Jupiter system in 1979, we've been very excited about Europa as a possible abode for life, under its ice shell. However, we've detected evidence that a number of other worlds might be ocean worlds, too!
The one that has the best evidence for being another ocean world is a small moon of Saturn called Enceladus.
In this Part of the Module Activity, you'll learn about the remarkable story of how the Cassini spacecraft and its scientists made a series of discoveries about Enceladus, from 2005 to 2017.
