Instructions
Like some of our previous Module Activities, this Activity will have you do some readings, and answer some multiple-choice questions, and then write a few short paragraphs in your own words.
There are a number of web articles that will be useful here, and I've linked them below.
The articles in bold are the ones that I think are most necessary to answer the questions. You should make sure to read these.
The articles not listed in bold-face type would be helpful, through probably not strictly necessary. If you have time to access them and read them, they'll probably help you feel more confident of your answers.
Note that some of these articles are by a blogger at the Planetary Society named Emily Lakdawalla. I mentioned her way back in a Module 1 lecture video, because her writings are so informative. In this Module Activity, I wanted to make certain that everyone got a chance to read some of what she's written, as a great example of the kind of quality writing about planetary science that can be found out there on the internet.
